We Shall Stand In Glory

While we strive to cope, there’s a blessed hope

The returning of our Christ

For His Word is true- we shall be made new

For His grace will surely suffice

In a twinkling eye He shall glorify

And we’ll know as we are known

We will understand and so we shall stand

Boldly there before God’s throne

We will stand as we see God face to face

As His glory is outpoured

We will stand in glory we shall stand by grace

In the presence of the Lord

And so while we wait though the time seem late

We will trust in what we’ve heard

The unseen we see- our present reality

Is revealed within His Word

Soon will come the day when we’ll cease to pray

For our faith will become sight

Then God’s work of redemption will be complete

No more need to fight the fight

We will stand as we see God face to face

As His glory is outpoured

We will stand in glory we shall stand by grace

In the presence of the Lord

When God’s Kingdom comes then His will is done

In the New Jerusalem

And all He ordained comes to pass in His reign

When Lord Jesus comes again

So come and stand this is God’s command

Now with confidence draw near

For there, face to face, at the Throne of Grace

Mercy flows right now, right here.

We will stand as we see God face to face

As His glory is outpoured

We will stand in glory we shall stand by grace
