Romans 5:1-5 (This Grace In Which We Stand)

We exalt in the hope of the glory of God

It is this Grace in which we stand

Through Christ, we have accessed Grace by Faith

Before time, for this time, this Gospel was planned

Through our Lord Jesus we have peace with God

For through faith, we are justified

It is only through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ

It was for our very sins that He died!

Unto lost sinners this blood is applied

We are declared righteous and are justified

It is for the ungodly that Christ has died

This is how God shows His love for us

Reconciled by Christ’s blood in which we trust

Once enemies- but now reconciled

One can come to be known as His child!

We rejoice in our own tribulations

For through suffering, we persevere

And by persevering, character is formed.

So we hope in Holy Fear…

For the love of God has been poured out

Through the Spirit in our hearts

So our Holy Hope never disappoints

By the Grace that our God imparts

Unto lost sinners this blood is applied

We are declared righteous and are justified

It is for the ungodly that Christ has died

This is how God shows His love for us

Reconciled by Christ’s blood in which we trust

Once enemies- but now reconciled

One can come to be known as His child!

Look to Jesus

What is the secret of running the race

The race that toward heaven leads?

Every heart that has found its homeplace

Looks to the One who ever intercedes

What is your hope and what is your goal?

To confess, we must focus our eyes

For faith is the eye of the Christian's soul

And Christ is the one on whom our soul relies

Chorus

He is the author

He is the finisher

He writes every line of our faith

He is our hope

He is our perfercter

Look to Jesus, the one source of Grace

Bridge

Where are you looking?

That makes all the difference

Where do you set your mind?

Where are you looking?

What is the evidence?

What are you seeking to find?

So as Moses lifted that bronze serpent

There in the wild wilderness

With trust and confidence we can repent

Look to Jesus and be truly blessed

He is the author

He is the finisher

He writes every line of our faith

He is our hope

He is our perfecter

Look to Jesus, the one source of Grace

Anchor My Soul

God anchors my soul in the Rock of salvation

The Rock, where my faith is affirmed

The Rock, which is one true and sure foundation

That Rock will ever hold firm

Its unshakable strength is my refuge

The spiritual Rock of my Christ

This Rock will hold firm through the deluge

His unmovable truth will suffice

Anchor my soul, anchor my soul

Held firm in the Rock of salvation

Anchor my soul anchor my soul

This Rock is my one sure foundation

Anchored in the bedrock of belief

We are built on it as Living Stones

There our wandering souls find relief

Until we know as we are known

Though this world’s tempest seems out of control

Christ my Rock is where my anchor is cast

My hope in Christ ever anchors my soul

It forever holds firm and steadfast

Anchor my soul, anchor my soul

Held firm in the Rock of salvation

Anchor my soul anchor my soul

This Rock is my one sure foundation

Now, not drifting away I am able

To have inner calm, and endure

The Rock keeps me steadfast and stable

In life's storms, I am safe and secure

No,  I shall not drift into fear or despair

I am held fast and won’t be released

He centers my mind, life’s turmoil to bear

Here I can face life’s storms with his peace

Anchor my soul, anchor my soul

Held firm in the Rock of salvation

Anchor my soul anchor my soul

This Rock is my one sure foundation

New Every Morning

On your brightest days and darkest seasons

God’s compassions have never once failed

Though life has its ways and doesn’t give reasons

God’s mercy has ever prevailed

Though we may wrestle with concerns of the day

New mercies are being prepared

God’s sufficient grace will show us the way

Though we know not from what we’ve been spared

They come without warning

They’re new every morning

So each day, we can start a new

As each day is aborning

They are new every morning

God’s mercies are faithful and true

His faithfulness will bring us through

We are never sustained by our own strength

But by unfailing compassion, and Grace

We may know all its wonders one day at length

But there’s Mystery, now in this place

God’s timing is perfect. His Wisdom is true.

New mercies were planned for this day

Just in time, just enough, they come anew

God’s Patience and Grace make a way

Bridge:

Weeping may last and last for the night

In the morning joy comes from above

It dawns afresh with the morning light

Abounding from God’s steadfast love

They come without warning

They’re new every morning

So each day, we can start anew

As each day is aborning

They are new every morning

God’s mercies are faithful and true

His faithfulness will bring us through

The Greatness of the Lord

Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised

Ascribe to Him Holy Fear

Declare His glory and marvelous deeds

Now to His temple He has drawn near

Worthy of honor, worthy of praise

Who spoke and behold there was light

Give Glory and blessing for His wondrous ways

His wisdom and power and might

Proclaim His Glory, His Goodness proclaim

Ascribe the honor due to His Name

Declare His righteousness, make great His fame

His mercies are new evermore

Laud the Greatness of the Lord

There is none like Him He reigns alone

None other speaks reality

Teach every soul that none other is known

Who holds the keys to eternity

Proclaim His Glory, His Goodness proclaim

Ascribe the honor due to His Name

Declare His righteousness, make great His fame

His mercies are new evermore

Laud the Greatness of the Lord

In Spirit and in Truth

Father,  we praise You, For You are Love and Light

We would now embrace You, Hold us by thy might

We come before you singing we come to you in prayer

Our true worship bringing  as we rest in Your care

We your people unite your glories to exalt

Here by faith and not by sight we live as light and salt

Living in your presence we are made complete

In holiness and reverence before your mercy seat

In spirit and truth we worship you

On your glory we would gaze

You are faithful you are true

And worthy of all praise

We come in adoration your glories to confess

You are our salvation you are our righteousness

We come in thanksgiving for all that you provide

In your presence living, the life that you’ve supplied

In spirit and truth we worship you

On your glory we would gaze

You are faithful you are true

And worthy of all praise

Hallowed be your great name, praised in all the earth

May it be our great aim to declare your great worth

Lord have mercy on us, keep us by your grace

In your goodness we trust, as we run our race.

Monarch over all things may your kingdom come

Fit us to be offerings transformed when life is done

Bring us to your throneroom, help us apprehend

The beauty of our bridegroom, and joy that never ends
