The Saga of the Son

We have a better story, 

A tale of pain and glory

The Myth that suddenly comes true

When the God of heaven is drawing you 

If reality is what you seek

To find strength when you are weak

It’s upside down and inside out

God’s foolishness is what it’s all about

‘Cause Christ came to die so we might live

He takes our death, a new life to give

Before time began, the plan was begun

If meaning holds a premium to you

In a world of lies, you want to know what’s true

Truth is a Person and He is the Way

In Him there is a hope for life today

For resurrection power comes from Him

Then hope eternal resonates within

The burdens of this life you can lay down

Cast at the feet of the One who wears the crown

Delight Yourself in the Lord

 

My soul thirsts for living water

As a deer pants for streams that flow,

For the living God is the desire of my soul

What I’d Rather Be

I’d rather be wise than rich ,I’d rather be wise than rich 

When it comes down to choices I’d rather know which is which 

I’d rather be wise than rich

I’d rather be kind than smart. I’d rather be kind than smart 

Smart can get you into trouble. Kindness is a work of art. 

I’d rather be kind than smart.

I’d rather be plain than pretty. I’d rather be plain than pretty 

If people like you for your looks, Then it’s just a pity 

I’d rather be plain than pretty

If I am to change, God let me change The way you want me to

And let the change bring glory, Lord-Glory unto you…
