Listen to Jesus

When everything goes right

And you revel in success

Failure’s someone else’s fight

Seems there’s nothing to confess

Know that God loves the spirit that’s contrite

The haughty spirit God will never bless

But He has something else to say

His words have eternal life

He is the Truth and Way

If you need a word of Wisdom

Come to Him and pray

 

Everyone is trying to hear

What are you listening to?

Turn off the noise and tune your ear

To the beautiful and the true

If you would listen then draw near

That’s all you have to do
