Tomorrow's Song

The morning dew has fallen, the morning sun’s aglow
The whippoorwill is calling and the rooster starts to crow
The daylight is a –breaking over on the Eastern view
This morning is awakening seen by but a chosen few.

The advent of a new day
And a fresh start comes e’re long
The nigh has flown in dawn’s display
Till we sing tomorrow’s song
New every morning is your mercy to us
New every morning In you promise still we trust.

Great is your faithfulness Lord, Great is your mercy sweet
We savor each note in creations chord, our hearts follow every beat
The daybreak is a calling we’re reminded you are True
And when nighttime is a falling, there will follow days anew.

The advent of a new day
And a fresh start comes e’re long
The darkness flees in dawn’s display
Till we sing tomorrow’s song
New every morning is your mercy to us
New every morning In you promise still we trust.

Until one day when sunrise will no longer be required
The risen lamb will light our eyes and the sun shall be retired.
The new Jerusalem descends to abide eternity long
In the glory that shall never end we shall sing tomorrow's song!
