When I’m endangered and need a protector, or am weak and need someone strong,
When I’m bankrupt and in need of a bailout, when I’m foolish and I am wrong
I need someone wise
and righteous, when I’m lost, I need rescue.
I lift my eyes unto
the hills- my helper comes to see me through.
When I cannot do the
work, in my impossibility
And I am utterly in need
of help, my Father works for me.
The giver gets the
Glory, our provider gets the praise
We wait, He works
within us His wondrous will and ways.
God says, "To your old age . .
. I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear;
I will carry and
will save (Isaiah 46:4). You are safe within my care
Call upon me in the
day of trouble; I will deliver you,
And you shall
glorify me (Psalm 50:12, 15), for I will see you through."
When I cannot do the
work, in my impossibility
And I am utterly in need
of help- My Father works for me.
The Giver gets the
Glory Our Provider gets the praise
We Wait, He Works
within us His wondrous will and ways.
Bridge:
No eye has seen a
God besides you,
Who works for those who wait for him (Isaiah 64:4).
Who works for those who wait for him (Isaiah 64:4).
The giver of life
abides in you (Acts 17:25)
He works his will in the fates of men (Phil 2:12–13)
He works his will in the fates of men (Phil 2:12–13)
When I cannot do the
work, In my impossibility (Philippians 4:13)
And I am utterly in need
of help, my Father works for me.
The Giver gets the
Glory, our Provider gets the praise
We wait, He works
within us His wondrous will and ways.
