The Blood of Jesus

Oh the Blood of Jesus will wash away our sins

The Blood of Jesus the sinners soul will cleanse

For those who trust in Jesus the covenant comes true!

Lord put the fear of You in our hearts that we might not turn from You!

You purchased our perseverance, you bought it with your blood

The Spirit works within us to immerse us in the flood

That covers o’er all our sin and purifies our souls,

So Jesus shall preserve our faith and take us to our goal!

The Blood of Jesus justifies

The Blood of Jesus satisfies

The Blood of Jesus reconciles

And purifies that which defiles

Heaven has given all that it can give

So united with His life now we live

Oh the blood of Jesus is our Covenant seal,

Oh the blood of Jesus shall be our one appeal!

We are secure forever- we who on the promise stand,

For Jesus has fulfilled the work the Father planned!
