I Need to Pray

Oh Lord, I feel the need to pray

I feel it each and every day

Every minute every hour

I will claim this gracious power

My Heav’nly Father I'll address 

My sins and evils to confess

I know my prayer He shall hear

He will delight to draw me near

Oh Lord, my God, to you  I pray

Not just for blessings to bestow

But in your presence here to stay

And that your glory I might know

You speak to me within your word

And I confess what I have heard

Thy kingdom come, your will be done

That your heart and mine shall be one

As I adore you and confess

You turne my heart to righteousness

I’ll give you thanks for your supply

Here in this life, and when I die

Oh Lord, my God, to you  I pray

Not just for blessings to bestow

But in your presence here to stay

And that your glory I might know

Lord in your presence, I would stay

So that your glory I might show
