God’s Raging Grace

There’s a light within the darkness

There’s a hope there in the night

Devastating in it’s starkness

It’s the glory of the light

That has come so walk within it

Come and let us run the race

You’ve no power to begin it

It’s all of God’s raging Grace

We can tell it to our children 

How it overtook our souls 

We will shout it by the millions

How the Lord God made us whole

Each and every generation

Has the same prevailing need

And no matter what their station

Sinners still need to be freed

To divine love we are reconciled

Unstoppable forgiveness

This is what we confess

Send the light into the nations 

For the story must be told

Come and join the celebration

Of a new life, strange and bold

For He meets you in your sorrow

Come and seek to know his face
