Always in Control

From the moment we were born

Thru the years that rolled

When we laughed and when we mourned

You were always in control

When we went our wicked way

When we forgot how to pray

Every night and every day

You were always in control 

You are ruling what you made

All creation,  every soul

By your living active blade

You sustain and make us whole

Though we may make our plans

Every moment’s in your hands

The universe heeds your commands

You were you are and will ever be

The sovereign over time and space

You rule and reign eternally

By your righteousness and grace

In the days that lie ahead

You ordain our final goal

While we live and when were dead

You are captain of our soul

In our future all our days

You design our  hearts pathways

For your glory for your praise

You’ll be always in control
