I Will Look to the Cross of Christ

I will look to the cross of Christ

I will look to his sacrifice

There the love of Christ constrains me

To forsake the sin that stains me

I will look to the cross of Christ 

There I see I was bought with a price 

Then to myself, I shall not live

But to him my life, I shall give

Is my heart too ready to love earthly things?

Am I too concerned with gain and loss?

Lord, help me be a living offering, 

I will look to  the cross

I will look to the cross

There I see that I am not my own

I am bound to glorify Christ alone

There he gave himself for me

To redeem me from all iniquity

I will look to the cross of Christ

His atonement has sufficed

He bore my sins upon that tree

That his righteousness I might be
