The Everlasting Rock

Am I grateful enough to change my ways

Am I needy enough to care?

Am I sorry enough to turn my gaze

From the world and this sin I bear?

Am I faithful enough to renew my mind

And from my old habits to relent?

Am I wise enough to seek and find

The deceit from which to repent?

Lord, turn my heart like a river

Holy Spirit be my guide

Let me rest in peace forever 

As I learn how to abide

In the everlasting rock

Be my perfect peace as I abide

In the everlasting rock.

Am I humble enough to get low

Am I weak enough to obey?

Do I lead with mercy as I go

Am I selfless enough to pray

Am I loving enough to freely love

Am I able to forgive?

If I set my mind on things above

Will you show me how to live?
