Where Glory Grows

I came with my hands open, weary and worn

Asking to stand, and to weather this storm

I pleaded for healing , to take away the pain

But I heard a quiet whisper that it must remain

For Your grace is sufficient, Your love will remain

For all of my losses will soon become gain

I’ll cast myself on You, surrender all my pleas

'Cause power is perfected when I am on my knees

Oh, when I am empty, Your grace overflows

In The depths of my weakness is where glory grows

The road has been rugged, and we journey far

Here in the deep valley I’m counting the scars

But breaking is normal, this side of the fall

I’ll boast in my weakness, and answer the call

(Bridge)

It’s not by my power, and not by my might

You overturn my darkness in Your holy light

The heavier the burden, the sweeter the rest

In every trial, by Your promise I’m blessed

I’ll boast in my weakness and the Lord’s sufficiency

That the power of Christ may dwell in me

For Your grace is sufficient, Your love will remain

For all of my losses will soon become gain

I’ll cast myself on You, surrender my pleas

'Cause power is perfected when i am on my knees

Oh, when I am empty, Your grace overflows

In The depths of my weakness is where glory grows

In The depths of my weakness is where glory grows

Gratitude is My Song

Sometimes life gets out of tune

And the storm clouds start to roll

But I can always find a tune

To bring the quiet to my soul

For then my faith will pull me through

By the graces God has shown

It's an anthem ringing true

For all the blessings I have known

Now gratitude is my song

It's the rhythm in my mind

If the song is right I can’t go wrong

When come the heavy times

Every breath is a melody

To sing my whole life long

For Heaven sings in harmony

When gratitude is my song

(Bridge)

I want to see the world with eyes of gratitude

With thanksgiving that informs my attitude

Then my heart will break forth in a joyful song

And maybe someone else will sing along

It's not about the things I own

Or the places I will go

It's knowing I am not alone

And letting all the worries go

Yeah, the chorus builds up high

And it chases all the fear

A grateful heart will touch the sky

That’s when God draws near

Now gratitude is my song

It's the rhythm in my mind

If the song is right I can’t go wrong

When come the heavy times

Every breath is a melody

To sing my whole life long

For Heaven sings in harmony

When gratitude is my song

The Music of Heaven

No mortal expression can capture the thrill,

Of the songs that the mansions of paradise fill.

It's louder and sweeter than I could compose

Rising up from the Mystery, that God only knows

My words are but whispers, a fragile refrain,

Compared to the beauty of the heavenly strain.

Ten thousand angels are joining the sound,

Where the joy is so perfect, no sorrow is found.

The music of Heaven rises ever higher

Perpetually sung by the heavenly choir

It rolls like an ocean, it swells like the dawn,

Far past the boundaries my voice draws upon.

And though my best notes fall short of the throne,

I’ll sing of the wonderful love I have known.

No melodies, rhymes, or earthly chords,

Attain to the language that fully records

The weight of your glory, the depths of your grace,

And the brilliant beauty of your dwelling place.

The music of Heaven rises ever higher

Perpetually sung by the heavenly choir

It rolls like an ocean, it swells like the dawn,

Far past the boundaries my voice draws upon.

And though my best notes fall short of the throne,

I’ll sing of the wonderful love I have known.

So I’ll sing till the chorus is joined with the skies,

A humble Amen as the melodies rise.

So I lay down my melodies, simply and free,

And offer the song that you’ve given to me.

Jesus Has Overcome the World

The weary road was long and steep,

The troubled heart too tired to weep.

But heaven heard the fervent plea,

And stepped into our history.

Upon a hill, the battle won,

The radiant work of God's own Son.

He broke the chains of sin and fear

,And brought the kingdom bright and near.

(Chorus)Jesus has overcome the world,

His victory banner is unfurled!

Death has lost its deadly sting,

Hear the ransomed children sing!

Jesus has overcome the world.

(Bridge)

He bore our guilt, He took our blame,

And He did not despise the shame.

Upon the cross, the debt was paid,

Where sin was crushed and atonement made

Open up the gates of praise,

Lift your voice through endless days!

Every sorrow, every pain,

Must bow before His glorious name!

(Chorus)Jesus has overcome the world,

His victory banner is unfurled!

Death has lost its deadly sting,

Hear the ransomed children sing!

Jesus has overcome the world.

(Outro)He reigns in triumph, strong and free,

Now and for eternity

.Jesus has overcome

!Jesus has overcome!

.

The Battle Rages Higher

The shadows fall, the night is cold,

An unseen war starts to unfold.

Not flesh and blood, but powers rise,

To blind the heart and cloud the eyes.

I feel the winds, I hear the drum,

The silent battle has begun.

The echoes fall, the heart may doubt,

A heavy weight has found me out

But I don't fight with human hands,

Or take my stand on shifting sands.

My shield is faith, the Spirit, my sword,

The light that guides me ever forward

Though arrows fly and darkness fall,

I hear the King’s clarion call

The victory's won, the demons yield

When love reigns on the battlefield.

Bridge: For when the battle rages higher

There is One much higher still

The battle belongs to the Lord

And surely succumbs to His will

The armor holds fast, tight and strong,

Our army raises the victory song.

With truth for a belt and peace to tread,

I lift my weary, guarded head.

The flaming darts of fear and pride

Are quenched when they are defied

Against all fears and lies and hate

Prevails the righteous breastplate

It’s not by might, it’s not by power,

But in the quiet, holy hour.

The walls of doubt begin to shake,

The dawn begins to finally break.

No weapon formed will ever stand,

Held tightly in God’s strong right hand.

Stand firm, hold fast, the morning's near,

Perfect love has cast out fear.

Christ In Me

When the morning light begins to break

And the heavy clouds begin to rise.

I am reminded of the strength I take

Not from my own will, I am not wise

A mystery revealed inside my soul

The King of Heaven is making me complete

He guides my steps and takes control

And leads me to His Mercy seat…

(Chorus)

It is Christ in me, the hope of glory

Writing every chapter of my story

My daily guide, my endless fire

The fulfillment of my heart's desire

In every struggle, I declare the mystery

The overcoming power of Christ in me

When the path is steep and roads are long

And I cannot see what lies ahead

I will lift my voice and sing this song

Because by His Spirit I am led

He whispers truth when I heed His call

His Spirit moves and clears the doubts away

He gives me grace to stand up when I fall

Lighting up the dark to show the way

(Repeat Chorus)

(Bridge)

No longer I who live, but He who lives in me

The chains are broken, my spirit is set free

I walk in power, I walk in light

Guided by His love- by faith not sight

Oh, what a grace, oh, what a mystery

The Lord of Glory dwells inside of me!

(Repeat Chorus)

(Outro)

Christ in me...My hope, my strength, my song

I stand in Glory- Right where I belong.
