At the Foot of the Cross

At the foot of the cross it’s clearly understood

That Jesus is anything but safe- but He’s GOOD

So take up the cross and bear it

Do not only worship, you must declare it

Looking neither left nor right 

Set your heart and set your sight

Deep calls unto deep

If your life you would keep

put your hand to the plow

You must put it all on the altar now.

At the foot of the cross level is the ground

There at that place where redemption is found
