One thing have I asked of the Lord,
And after this I will seek always:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord
All the days of my life, all the days
Oh upon the beauty of the Lord to gaze (Psalm 27:4)
To inquire in His temple and give Him praise
This is the contrite longing of my soul
This is my foremost reason and my goal
With gladness and gratitude He will fill my heart
With my mourning turned to dancing (Psalm 30:11-12)
My glorious singing I will start!
This is the reason for my song
My treasure and my wealth
It is not for God’s good gift I long
But for my God Himself! (Psalm 42:1)
Delight yourself in the Lord” (Psalm 37:4).
I wait for the Lord, my soul shall wait
And in His word I hope (Psalm 130:5).
At your right had the pleasures are great! (Psalm 16:11)
In your presence there is fullness of joy
So in your house I would forever dwell
To bask in the pleasures at your right hand
Of your glory I will forever tell. (Psalm 16:11)
This is the reason for my song
My treasure and my wealth
It is not for God’s good gift I long
But for my God Himself! (Psalm 42:1)
