Doxology (Treasure the Glory)

Lord make me to know your glory,

For my ultimate hope is to see

Here in your gospel the riches it holds

May your glory be revealed to me

So I will rejoice in partaking

In apprehending by grace

The hidden wisdom`s imparted

And into this vessel it`s placed

For you will present us blameless

Before your glorious throne

Where your kavod and your doxa

In majesty will be made known

Treasure the glory, the glory of God

In and above all things

Treasure the worth of the pearl of great price

And forsake all the glories to which the world clings

Now in the face of Christ Jesus

The radiance of glory appears

We long to defer to its eternal weight

O`erwhelmed by magnificent fear!

And so we have hope through the gospel

That in Gods glory we will soon share

For now we will study and seek it

As a treasure thats beyond compare

until other glories that seduce men

All the worlds glories that would compete

With the infinite treasure of Jesus

Fall in pitiful pieces at His feet

Treasure the glory, the glory of God

In and above all things

Treasure the worth of the pearl of great price
