Oh I shall sing of the longsuffering
Patience and the kindness-That overcame my blindness
Oh I shall sing of the sheltering wings
The loving arms of grace-Their comforting embrace
Oh the everlasting arms of Jesus
Still hold me in the present as they have in the past

For resting there within his care

Limbs that were outstretched on the cross for me
Arms that bear the wounds that set me free
To be pinioned by his power, like a mighty tower

Held in an embrace that transcends time and space
