The Order of the Pierced Ear

Blessed are the ones

Who have no hope but Christ

The daughters and the sons

Who are a living sacrifice 

The downcast and depressed 

The needy and the meek

They Have Christ’s name confessed

They find the peace they seek

They only live to die

For one must die to live

On grace they must rely

It is their gain to give

Bridge

I pray we are the ones

The ones who’ve come to know

The door who is the Son

The Vine in whom we grow

And so we live and move

Now see our being found 

In him -we are approved 

To Jesus we are bound.

The humble ones shall thrive

When in him we depend

In Christ we are alive

He is our very end

The blessed and the bound

To the door are drawn near

In loyalty and love now found

In the order of the pierced ear
