Oh Hell

O hell you cannot have me

I'm not under your control

Oh devil you cant own me

Tho you hunger for my soul

Theres a savior who has bought me

With the wages sin has lost

I was falling but he caught me

I am his who paid the cost

My redeemer  bought the freedom

That a deadman could not claim

I was cast out of that eden

When the Adam scorned your Name

But the second Adam  saves us

Did the work that could atone

Now his righteousness he gave us

And were saved by Christ alone!

Oh hell oh hell

My soul you cannot own

For my heart harkens to heaven

With my Jesus in my eternal home

So hell you cannot hold me

For your pawer of death has died

Nail scarred hands now enfold me

The arms of the crucified.

Demon spirits  can’t possess  me

With the Spirit i am sealed

Tho the world only detests me

It cant wound the one you’ve  healed

Vouchsafed by my judge and jury

Justified  and sanctified 

Though now hell may rage with fury

Heavens wrath was satisfied

Set free by propitiation

Thru the final sacrifice

Adopted now in celebration 

All my joy is found in Christ!
