The Presence and Promise of Jesus

Oh, the presence and promise of Jesus

Is the greatest gift we can know

To dwell in his presence forever

We will follow where he bids us go

For his presence will never forsake us

And his promise will always ring true

I pray ever I’ll dwell in his presence

For he does what he says he will do

It is presence there’s joy yay the fullness of joy

And his promise is yes and amen

He says come to me all you who are weary

Then his eternal rest will begin

Oh, the presence and promise of Jesus

Sustains as through this world we go

Before he indwells the hearts of believers

For in him true heaven, we know

Oh to dwell in his presence is blessing

So on his promise we shall rely

So enter his courts with thanksgiving

Then forevermore when we die
