Gentle and Lowly, Hallowed and Holy

 

You are gentle and lowly of heart

You’re the one who will set us apart

Neath your wings we will hide

Draw us close to your side

And the fruit of righteousness impart

You are gentle and lowly we know

For you yourself have told us so

You identify thus

So this truth we can trust

You give peace as through this world we go

Oh gentle and lowly

Hallowed and holy

You are power that’s under control

We will find if we seek

You give power to the weak

Grace all sufficient makes us whole

You are gentle and lowly we trust

You are justifier and are just

For your heart  full of grace

Draws us to your embrace

So to come to you Jesus we must.
