Love’s Redeeming Work Is Done

You can’t get lower than the grave

Or comprehend the gift Christ gave

Or count the cost of victory

Or pay the cost that set us free.

The enemy of every soul

The prince of darkness sought control

There was a battle to be won

And it was fought by God’s own son

But such an obscene victory was fought

T'was far beyond what we sought

The source of life was struck and shunned

We gaze on Him and are undone

Christ paid the cost for death to die

The Lamb of God was crucified

So love’s redeeming work was done

Accomplished by the worthy one

See Him arise on the third day

Now see His glory on display

He conquered death, for sin atoned

Now he’s become our cornerstone

And Love’s redeeming work is done

Love’s redeeming work is done

Love’s redeeming work is done

Love’s redeeming work is done

Easter Song

A garden tomb became the place

of resurrection power

The seed of the woman buried there

Would break forth  like a flower

Then bursting forth the living vine

Would bear much fruit that day

The fruit of resurrection life

Has rolled the stone away.

Shekina blazes from the darkness

And now in glory Christ is raised

The first fruits of the grave arose

He lives -May God be praised

Now every promise that he made

With In that upper room

Has come to pass abundantly

Beyond that empty tomb

Oh sin’s propitiation

our atoning sacrifice

Our reconciliation

Is found in Jesus Christ

Christs Witnesses give evidence

As angels celebrate

And mortal men still doubt the truth

Of his exalted state

But one day every knee shall bow

And every tongue confess

He is the lord of glory

The king of righteousness.

Oh sin’s propitiation

our atoning sacrifice

Our reconciliation

Is found in Jesus Christ

This is the Way

Whether we turn to the right

To the right or the left

Our ears will hear a voice

A voice behind you Saying

this is the way, walk in it

walk in it, walk in it

So then In his guidance rejoice

This is the way…

You are the path, you are the prize

You break our fear, you make us wise

So turn turn turn

Do not go astray

When for rest you yearn

This is wisdom’s way

Whether we turn to the right

To the right or the left

Our ears will hear a voice

A voice behind you Saying

this is the way, walk in it

walk in it, walk in it

So then In his guidance rejoice

This is the way…

You are the path, you are the prize

You break our fear, you make us wise

So turn turn turn

Do not go astray

When for rest you yearn

This is wisdom’s way

My Messiah and My Christ

Oh Lord you are the author-
And the founder of my faith

And what you start you finish-
And bring to a perfect state

Lord you’ve written every page-
You pioneered God’s plan

You went before and secured it-
Now complete what you began

Author and finisher

Creator and perfecter

Choosing those that you foreknew

You are the Great Elector

Shepherd and Redeemer

Savior and Sacrifice

You are Alpha and Omega

My Messiah and my Christ

Lord you create from nothing-
And You created me

Your very Word sustains us-
Your Truth will set us free

You knit me in my Mama’s womb-
But now I am reborn

You are the new beginning-
My life is now transformed

Author and finisher

Creator and perfector

Choosing those that you foreknew

You are the Great Elector

Shepherd and Redeemer

Savior and Sacrifice

You are Alpha and Omega

My Messiah and my Christ

You are Alpha and Omega

My Messiah and my Christ

You are Alpha and Omega

My Messiah and my Christ

The Shadow of our Very Sin

The shadow of our very sin

Falls on His sacrifice

And His redemption falls on us

His work has paid the price

So herein is the great exchange

A double reckoning no less

He becomes Sin for His own

And we become His righteousness

And redeeming love outpours

Upon our greatest need

Forgiveness now is ours

For our sinful thought and deeds

He draws us ever nearer

In our suffering or in pain

Redeeming love still flows

Christ’s loss becomes our gain

For the joy set before Him

Our Lord endured the cross

Jesus despised the shame

And paid our ransom’s cost

Exalted at the Throne now

At God’s righteous right hand

Therefore we may now endure

And rest within God’s plan

For redeeming love outpours

Upon our greatest need

Forgiveness now is ours

For our sinful thought and deeds

He draws us ever nearer

In our suffering or in pain

Redeeming love still flows

Christ’s loss becomes our gain

Songs of the Savior

Our Savior is a singer

The Spirit of Christ still sings

He lifts His voice- hear Him rejoice

Through His earthly sufferings

His very word sustains us

He is the reason we sing

And when we join in His songs

We become an offering

So come sing the song of the Savior

Come revel and lift up your voice

And by the singing be satisfied

In this real reason to rejoice

He sanctifies our suffering

He sings truth that sets us free

A hymn of praise is in our mouths

His songs create reality

The song of the persecuted

Vindication to receive

A future hope and confidence

For the righteous who believe

So come sing the songs of the Savior

Come revel and lift up your voice

And by the singing be satisfied

In this real reason to rejoice
