All sufficient forgiver
On the cross glorified
Merciful grace giver
Risen, you have justified
Absolute foundation
Of all that’s unchanging and True
By your righteous work of salvation
You give fervent faith in you
Utterly faithful, reliable guide
Friend of the Sinner in You we abide
Joy everlasting’s source
Eternally glorious
Over death victorious
Neath the shadow of your wings we hide
Deep is calling unto deep
All nature cries out in praise
You are the firstfruits of those who sleep
Alpha, Omega, and Ancient of Days.
