Who is this God we love to serve
the Lord of glory end of might.
Whose blessings flow, though they’re undeserved
to those who walk within his light
Who is this God in which we trust
the one most merciful, yet just
who puts his image in our dust
He is the first he is the last
he is eternally the same.
He reigns forever as in the past
the Lord Jehovah is his name.
The God who creates and redeems
the god of grace and God of love.
who’s found of Mercy ever streams
down from his glorious throne above?
We who are besieged, the great and small
Who will place in him their trust?
Our God delivers one and all
Yes, our God shall deliver us
Almighty God raises the dead
And on this we depend, we must
and by his Grace our souls are fed
This is the God who is For us
