The Rock that Rolled

He’s the Rock that rolled from beyond time 

The Righteousness that rolled down 

The Rock that makes my reasons rhyme

This Rock’s where Living Water’s found.

Though the world may rail and mock

A refuge on this Rock is found

So my feet are set up on that Rock. 

To this failsafe I am bound

If my faith is placed in Him

That faith will ever endure 

It is this Rock that crushes sin

It makes my foundation sure.

I’ll build on this Rock alone, 

Not on the shifting sands. 

The one foundation that is known

Hewn out by His own hand
