Purpose Power and Peace

We were without a purpose in the end

With a total inability to call you friend

We were an enemy at enmity with You

Yet you provided all we need to become your chosen few.

You are our purpose, you are our power, 

You are our peace

Your mercies are new every morning

You love shall never cease

Your plan before the world began

Was to see your glory increase

Our default was Hell because of the Fall

But you drew us near with your compelling call

All in all, you are our all in all

Your purposes go forward though doubt and fears assail

Your power creates life  and so your power shall avail

When this world rails against us your peace will still prevail

Your purpose power and peace will never fail
