Song of the Redeemed

Our faith looks up to you

Sovereign o'er all we do

King of our souls

You are all blessedness

Lord, your name we confess

Make us your righteousness

Come, take control

No merit of our own

We trust in Christ alone

Your Grace impart

Lord be our solid ground

In you our hope is found

Now may your peace abound

Within our hearts

Lord, now for us, you stand

Showing your wounded hands

You intercede

Before your Father’s throne

You name us as your own

We trust your blood alone

Will meet our need

Lord, hear us when we pray

Take all our sins away

And make us clean

All of our needs we bring

This we are offering

This be the song we sing

We the redeemed.

The Fall, the Wall, and the All in All

You are the Lord, infinite and mercy the first and last

You know all things before they ever come to pass

Your eyes see all things before they come to be

Yet your creation will desert you in an effort to be free

From the glory of your presence and the fellowship of light

They will prefer the darkness of a long eternal night

Man seeks to be sufficient as if he were enough

He will call his God a liar and disregard True love

In rebellion, he’ll serve other gods and the Lord he will deny

He’ll come to eat forbidden fruit, and on that day he shall die

Now man becomes a slave to Sin, the truth he will exchange

For the lie of the serpent and in sin he will remain

A broken image of God’s likeness bound in his mortal flesh

No longer shall he be able to mirror holiness

A great wall he’ll build and soon it becomes his tomb

A God shaped void none else can fill- for God there is no room

So withered now and hopeless in bondage to sin’s embrace

For all his work and all his plans, he failed to seek God’s grace

Then vanity of vanities, his creations become his king

He lives beneath his privilege and dreams of mundane things

I Call Out Your Name

What a masterpiece of mercy God’s creation remains

Though it has been polluted and defaced

The stewards of this world have fallen short at taking pains

Yet everywhere you  still can see the marks of Grace

In the heavens in the oceans and on the dry land

The beauty of this world still shows forth

The Earth and wind and fire are still controlled by God‘s hand

And Deep calls unto Deep to show it’s worth

The heavens still  declare glory.

The Earth springs forth with praise

Creation tells the story

And we still stand amazed

And I call out your Name

And I call out your Name

The designer of creation embeds His Evidence

Of a music and a beauty beyond time

We  are all without excuse before his Providence

Left tangled here longing for the divine

Joy turns to mourning Love turns to lust

When the author of all faith and hope is scorned

For none other has the words of life in which to trust

There’s only one way you can be reborn

The heavens still  declare glory.

The Earth springs forth with praise

Creation tells the story

And we still stand amazed

And I call out your Name

And I call out your Name

Look to Jesus

From the beginning to the end

And from morning unto night

On this charge, I will contend:

On Christ to ever set my sights

Yesterday and today

To tomorrow and beyond

To forevermore, I pray

It’s Christ  I’ll turn my eyes upon

I’ll look to Jesus look to Jesus

Oh, the glory of his name

I’ll look to Jesus look to Jesus

And I will never be the same

Thoughts of Christ I will pursue

Above all things I will regard

That seeking him is what I’ll do

And from this world, my heart He’ll guard

So I will study Jesus Christ

Consider him as above all

For he is life and he is light

By Christ my heart shall be enthralled

I’ll look to Jesus look to Jesus

Oh, the glory of his name

I’ll look to Jesus look to Jesus

And I will never be the same

So up on Christ I’ll set my eyes

Eyes of my heart shall surely see

And in my soul, I’ll realize

I am in Christ and Christ’s in me

I’ll look by faith and not by sight

And I shall seek to apprehend

The beauty of the living light

This is my joy and my chief end

I’ll look to Jesus look to Jesus

Oh, the glory of his name

I’ll look to Jesus look to Jesus

And I will never be the same

To Live Is Christ, To Die is Gain

There is a faith that largely goes unchallenged

Yet the laying down of life is still in view

To willingly pay the price

Of daily sacrifice

Depending wholly upon Grace to see it through

There is a faith that overcomes temptation

And knowing God is all of its pursuit

A faith that conquers fear

And to the Lord draws near

And losing life to find it is its Truth

To live is Christ and to die is gain

These are words that resound clear and plain

A faith that fears not death

And with the final breath, it proclaims

To live is Christ and to die is gain

There is a faith that wrestles with the challenge

Of what believing might truly cost

When worship might result

In more than mere insult

Called to face death in the midst of holocaust

There is a faith that fuels the voice of martyrs

Where deep persecution is reality

This life it loosely holds

Against the world stands bold

And knows that death will only set one free

To live is Christ and to die is gain

These are words that resound clear and plain

A faith that fears not death

And with the final breath, it proclaims

To live is Christ and to die is gain

Nothing

Nothing fascinates me like you Jesus

No one draws me into joy like you

Lord you mesmerize my soul

To be like you is my goal

There’s no other one I give allegiance to

I will never comprehend you Jesus

But I’ll ever seek to apprehend your ways

For if I would be transformed

I will pray to be conformed

To your likeness and to ever give you praise

You’re the power that holds the world together, Jesus

All the universe would crumble but for you

For all creation exists

And by your Word consists

For you made it and sustain it too

I will live and move and have my being in you, Jesus

You are all in all and so I worship you

For there is no substitute

For the Way and Life and Truth

I pray to bring you glory in all I do
