Goodness, Love, Justice and Joy

There’s a lesson that’s prime for the learning

God is good. God is good.

It’s the truth for which each soul is yearning

It’s understood it’s understood

This is goodness and mercy that never shall fail

Given freely to those whom in faith will prevail

And these great gifts of Father are for you to find

It’s a blessing that comes by where you set your mind

There’s a truth that’s required for the knowing

God is love. God is love.

And in love, there’s a Grace He’s bestowing

From above from above…

This is great lovingkindness that never shall fail

Given freely to those whom in faith will prevail

Now these great gifts of Father  are for you to find

It’s a blessing that comes by where you set your mind

There’s a righteousness that must be reckoned

God is just,  God is just

And this call to justice forever beckons

In this we trust… In this we trust…

This is real righteousness that never shall fail

Given freely to those whom in faith will prevail

And these great gifts of Father are for you to find

It’s a blessing that comes by where you set your mind

Bridge

We all fall short of glory we’re all bound to our sin

But there is the Gospel story that’s new life begins

There’s a joy that’s for you now to own

Make the choice. Make your choice

Come to Jesus, it is found in Him alone

So rejoice, yes rejoice!

This is great lovingkindness that never shall fail

Given freely to those whom in faith will prevail

Now these great gifts of Father are for you to find

It’s the blessing that comes by where you set your mind

Now goodness, love justice and joy are for you to find

It’s a blessing that comes by where you set your mind
