Oh What a Hope!

This is my boast- that I know You

This is my boast that I understand

You are revealed as Faithful and True

Now on this Truth I take my stand

You Are the Light

You are the Light that shines in this darkness

Tho I am surrounded you still deliver me

You are my rock and my only salvation

Your light shines in me for all the world to see.

Who is like you oh Lord?

Whose word is like a two edged sword?

I am a remnant of the fall

You are the mighty Lord of All

You are the glory power and might

You are the God of births and graves

I’ll bask forever in Your light

You have the only Name that saves

As I lick my wounds you provide a balm

As I ride this storm you create a calm

For You will safely see my through

Your Light will show me what to do!

The Lord of Me

There is a way that leads to life

A way that leads to death.

A way of sure destruction

A way that gives us breath.

Be the Lord, the Lord of me.

I am weary, worldly wise

This world is jaded in my eyes

Be my Mercy, Be my healing

In the Grace you are revealing

Your very self as Lord to me.

Show me your way

There is a better way

Lord Be my better Way

Be my Way today.

Be my Master, help me cope

Give me peace and be my hope

In your knowledge I can see

Purpose in this hand that’s dealt to me

Be my Lord, Be the Lord of Me.

I will trust, I will obey

And walk in your light every day

For in your light my blind eyes can see

Father of Eternity

The Father of Eternity became a child of time

The Counselor of Wonder became mystery sublime

The Mighty God became a helpless thing

The Prince of Peace became a peace offering

This is the perfect paradox of which we sing

You came down from your glorious throne

You came to us to make the Father known

Oh Counselor of Wonder To your wisdom we will yield

As you tear the veil asunder your rich glory is revealed

By your counsel we will se our wounds are healed

You came to us to part the veil that hides God’s face

Yopu came to us to give to us the gift of grace

Oh Prince of Peace come down to us, be our Shalom tonight

For peace flows from your grace we trust, make us reconciled and right

Oh Prince of Peace you are our one delight

Bridge:

We could not reach to heaven’s height

We did not know we are not right

So love came down to be our cure

Save from death and make us pure

Now we can see true wisdom in the wondrous and the weak

Oh mighty God of Grace You became the very Word You speak

Oh Father of Eternity who created time and space

Wrap up yourself in dust and flesh in this dismal place

Oh Mighty God the Great I Am, the High exalted One

You have become a helpless lamb, a simple selfless Son

We see this glory and we are undone

Draw Near

God will set us free from darkness He shall set us free from fear

There is freedom in His presence If we only will draw near.

We can rise with wings like eagles Till the valley disappears

We shall mount up to His mountain If we only will draw near

As we venture ever closer We discover faith's frontier

We must walk a long obedience As the Father draws us near

In the blessings, in the burdens He shall sanctify our tears

And our Joy shall be completed If we only will draw near

So now draw near to the Father Set your mind on things above

For he draws us from the wells of death And showers us with love

As we lift Him up were lifted Brought unto His mercy seat

As we raise our hearts up to Him We discover His heartbeat.

So cleanse your hands, you sinners,  Let His fire your hard heart sear

Purge your hearts, you double-minded.  Mourn and weep with holy tears

Let your laughter turn to mourning  Cease your joy as gloom appears

Humble yourselves before God- He'll exalt and draw you near.

We shall diligently seek Him We'll pursue and persevere

Our persistence is rewarded By his very presence here

For if we seek we find Him And our vision He shall clear

We shall see His very glory If we only will draw near.

We Wish You a Mysterious Christmas

Wonder fills us with astonishment. -This infant reveals the Ancient of Days

He who sits upon the heavenly throne -Now lies in a manger while angels sing praise

And he who cannot be touched,  Lies subjected to human hands.

He who has broken the bonds of sinners Is now bound by an infant’s bands.

Now ignominy becomes honor,  And infamy is clothed with glory,

Humiliation measures his goodness-He’s decreed this mysterious story.

For this he assumed my body,  That I may embrace His word;

He quickens my mind and opens my ears so eternal truth can be  heard!

Let all the earth rejoice-Let all the earth rejoice

The baby born to us this day-Was spoken by God’s voice.

He prepares for us  life’s  treasure- He bestows, and we receive

He takes our flesh and we’re sanctified  He gives His Spirit, that we may believe.

For this day the ancient slavery’s ended, the Devil confounded, now demons take flight,

The power of death once for all is broken! To those in darkness comes the light.

For in His work paradise is unlocked, Sin is removed, the curse is broken,

Error’s driven out for truth has been born,  Lovingkindness is diffused  as it’s spoken

Now Grace is  spread on every side-Yea,  implanted on the earth,

And we now hold speech with angels because of Emmanuel’s birth.

Let all the earth rejoice-Let all the earth rejoice

The baby born to us this day-Was spoken by God’s voice.

God’s on earth, and man in heaven; while seated above He yields to birth

And while complete in heaven, He is never diminished on earth.

Though He is God, He became man,  though as God not denying himself

Though being the unchanging Word, He became flesh with us to dwell!

And so by  I AM’s incarnation a new covenant has been born

The Christ in this child, condescending, has raised up Salvation’s Horn

To him, then, who out of confusion  has brought a clear path to deliver

So to Father, Christ and Holy Spirit, We offer all praise now and forever.
