God So Loved

God so loved, so, so loved

That He sent His only Son

To pay Sin’s devastating wages

This world of image bearers

If not for  Calvary’s  cross

A spiritual bloodbath

Undo Me (Vision of Reality)

Galvanize and mesmerize  And tune my heart to Thee

My suppositions Lord, surprise, So I can reckon rightly

The truth Lord I would apprehend From illusions and lies, lift my gaze

The worldly veil, Lord Jesus, rend: alarm, astonish, and amaze!

With new eyes I would see

A vision of reality.
Lord, undo me.

This world of sin shall take its toll; Lord Jesus help my unbelief

Lord, I am ruined- seize my soul, And exchange glory for my grief

Disorient and disconcert,  Disturb all my delusions

Save me from a world of hurt- Destroy all my illusions

With new eyes I would see

A vision of reality.
Lord, undo me.

More Than Mere Music

Our songs are a sacrifice

Of praise to our God

That many will hear and believe

Our songs are indwelt

By the Spirit of God

Inhabited  by the grace we receive

More than mere music the songs that we sing

Testify to the world as we walk in the light

So this chorus of praises to Jesus we bring.

As we lift our voices our hearts shall take flight

For you promise to live in our praise in your Word

We lift up holy voices in meter and rhyme

And these mystical melodies still can be heard

In the songs of the redeemed of all time!

You store up our prayers,You enter our praise

We focus our heart with an infinite gaze

So we sing of your grace and your love all our days

To the altar of intimacy we shall bring

The gift of our praise offering.

Thrice holy, yet sheltering us under your wing

You are merciful in your great might

More than mere music the songs that we sing
